Paperwork Sent

After what felt like a small battle with one agency, we finally sent in our paperwork this morning! God is so good and so faithful! Even when it looks like things are out of control and not getting done in time, God still holds the situation in the palm of his hand. What looks crazy and out of control to me is being orchestrated by a perfect God. Awesome!

For our jobs, this means that once they receive and process our paperwork, we'll actually have a job! So exciting!

I think the thought of getting on a plane and actually leaving for another country, permanently, is starting to set in a little. I am starting to pack up our house and John is wrapping up at work. On one hand, we are so excited to be moving, and watching how God uses us. We both love culture and feel ready to take on the challenge of learning a new one. On the other hand, we are feeling uprooted. Our family and friends, especially our church in Springfield, is going to be very difficult to leave. We are already feeling the strain of leaving by having to keep our commitments limited. It is a very difficult process, but God is ever present and faithful. And I am so excited that, even if we don't see our wonderful brothers and sisters in Christ after we move, we WILL see you again when we are with Christ! (And their might even be warhammar for the boys to play).

For those to whom it would be beneficial to know some of our schedule, let me tell you.

I am finished with work for the summer and am packing.
July 16 is John's last day of work so he can help pack and move.
July 18 is SAY GOODBYE TO JOHN AND KATELYN- a goodbye party in Springfield. You should come if you can.
July 28 is our projected move-out-of-Ohio date
After this we will be spending time with mine and John's families and other friends.
August 18 is our first day of training in Korea. We will probably leave sometime earlier that week.
